While there’s plenty of places to buy flowers in Melbourne, the ones closest to the CBD have been more popular in Sydney.
This is because Melbourne has been able to get more flower shops to open up in the city centre, which has helped drive up prices.
It’s also worth noting that Melbourne’s flower markets tend to be more of a tourist attraction than a local one, with people often going for an experience.
I went to a flower market in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD in November, and I’m glad I did.
The floral displays and flower-themed shops are really well done, and it’s hard to imagine that Melbourne is lacking in these kinds of things.
There’s also a small selection of imported items, so if you’re looking for something new to try, you can definitely find it in Melbourne’s big flower markets such as the Gardens at Kensington Gardens.
And Melbourne’s main flower market has some really cute little shops and cafes to go and explore.
